about page

The Tomato Vine is your source for delicious, from-scratch food!

We offer fresh menus for delivery or pickup each week. Stop by our cafe for a hot lunch and pick up dinner to heat at home! You can also contact us for any of your catering needs. Whether it’s a corporate lunch, wedding, cocktail party, or the family dinner table- we can help make it a deliciously memorable event!

Cooking our meals seasonally and from scratch means you get the most flavor and most nutrients out of your meals, and that’s what makes us proud. We source locally grown organic produce whenever possible. All poultry and meat products are also raised on free-range organic farms right here in Minnesota. Our fish and seafood are always sustainably sourced. We always use our own house-made stock. Taste and feel the difference, when you eat the way nature intended!

  Meet The Chef:

abby-randall-circle-faceChef Abby Randall, Owner & Founder

Abby found her passion for cooking in her mother’s farm-to-table restaurant, Rebekah’s, as a teenager. She now has over 16 years of professional cooking experience, from a corporate sous chef to fine dining to catering manager. In 2009 Abby graduated from the advanced program at the Culinary Institute of America in New York with a Pro-Chef Level One certification and an amazing career experience.
In 2012 she left her job as catering manager and started her own business as a personal chef to promote health, well-being, and quality time with family through home-cooked meals. That business quickly grew and evolved into The Tomato Vine, a weekly meal delivery service and catering operation based out of Eden Prairie. Abby has always had a keen appreciation for eating locally and seasonally. Since growing her business into a commercial kitchen operation, she is now able to source and supply from the same local farms as her mother did. Her passion for food is ever-present in her recipes, the meals she creates and events she caters.
